Her work place is a salvage yard and given more room she would collect and use abandoned houses, excavated landscapes, derelict automobiles, body parts, broken hearts. The canvasses weigh upon our thoughts, and with all the symbolic refuse and found objects, Garsson's visions are revealed with mastery and mystery reflecting a primal ancestry and is a direct statement about our human condition in the late 20th (to early 21st) century. Our garbage is exhibited before us, phrased in unique order, symetry and balance beckoning the viewer to contemplate this life's travels, where we've come from, what we leave behind, and what our day to day experiences create in our present environment.

The question is: when do we do battle with tyrany when we cannot know the future? The dilemma looms large, so that most would rather not face that there is a problem. It is why so many are oblivious to both personal bullying, and the more public, national, or international forms of domination and cruelty. We can never know the outcome if we act. To to do so is excellent for the soul. One thing I know, one way and another, I will find the courage to exercise my most cherished freedom guaranteed in our Bill of Rights, the right to free speech.
